President, 2023-2024
It is my great honor to welcome you to the Society for the Analysis of African American Public Health Issues (SAAPHI) website. We are delighted that you are interested in our organization and the work we do! SAAPHI is an interdisciplinary organization dedicated to fighting for health equity and addressing the fundamental causes of racial health inequities in the United States through research, policy, and practice. We are committed to fighting for ALL Black people, and strive to be inclusive of all identities and experiences. SAAPHI remains committed to the personal and professional growth of marginalized and minoritized scholars, community members, and health care workers. We invite you to get involved and help us as we build upon the mission of SAAPHI as set forth by Dr. Bill Jenkins.
