The 192nd Manchester derby takes place at the Etihad Stadium on another huge day in the Premier League title race. It’s the second and final Manchester Derby of the season, with Marcus Rashford and Manchester United visiting Erling Haaland and Manchester City.

Watch a Man City vs Man Utd live stream to see two teams from opposite sides of Manchester go head-to-head in a game that could have huge implications in both the title race and the chase for Champions League football. You can watch the match live from anywhere.

Man City's 6-2 thrashing of Luton in the FA Cup on Tuesday night stretched the champions' unbeaten streak to 18 games in all competitions, with just four points dropped in a period that stretches back to the start of December. A goal for City today will equal the club's record of scoring in 55 consecutive home games, but considering Erling Haaland alone scored five against the Hatters in midweek you wouldn't bet against them finding the net more than once against their local rivals.

Man Utd have conceded a total of 10 goals in their last two visits to the Etihad, including a 6-3 drubbing in October 2022. If there's one stat that should encourage the red side of Manchester ahead of today's derby, however, it's that there's no fixture in the Premier League that's seen more away wins than this one. Will Erik ten Hag's side do Liverpool and Arsenal a favor in the race for the title?

City will continue their hunt for another glorious Premier League title as Pep Guardiola's men look to mount pressure on league leaders, Liverpool. With the Sky Blues flying high on the back of their thrashing of Luton Town in the FA Cup, they will be confident of another three points against United.

United, on the other hand, will look to bounce back from their league defeat against Fulham at the Theatre of Dreams. With a massive sword hanging over Erik ten Hag's head, the former Ajax manager will be hoping to see the Red Devils produce a formidable result at the Etihad.

The rioting of Luton in the FA Cup didn't have all good news for the reigning champions as Guardiola lost English superstar Jack Grealish due to a groin injury.

The former Villa winger had returned from an injury layoff but he's touted to spend another few weeks in the medical room alongside former RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol who's doubtful for the derby owing to an ankle issue.

Brazilian shot-stopper Ederson would be one of the four major names who were unused in their FA Cup tie returning to the side with centre-back Ruben Dias heading the defensive battery.

Spanish midfielder Rodri would also be starting in the engine room for the hosts while Phil Foden will partner up Erling Haaland in attack with the latter entering the contest on the back of five goals against the Hatters.

Erik ten Hag's injury headache doesn't seem to stop with Raphael Varane a touch-and-go for the clash.

The Red Devils have a plethora of names ruled out as all of Mason Mount (calf), Lisandro Martinez (knee), Luke Shaw (muscle), Aaron Wan-Bissaka (unspecified), Harry Maguire (unspecified), Rasmus Hojlund (unspecified), Tyrell Malacia (knee) and Anthony Martial (knee) are undergoing treatment.

Bruno Fernandes was also touted to miss the clash but the Dutch manager has confirmed that the Portuguese international would feature for the side as they look to challenge Man City's recent victories in the derby.

City, who beat United 3-0 in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford in October, will be looking to build on their resounding 6-2 win over Luton Town in the FA Cup in midweek. United, too, will be keen to build on a midweek FA Cup triumph of their own after they beat Nottingham Forest 1-0.

Despite those respective successes, focus now switches back to the bread and butter of the Premier League and contesting the latest instalment of this historic rivalry. City will enter the derby looking to boost their title hopes while United will be looking to resurrect their top four hopes.

Pep Guardiola will be desperate to keep pace with Liverpool and Arsenal in what has been a furious title race so far, while Erik ten Hag is under pressure to prove his worth after Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s takeover with an ongoing power struggle at the heart of the Old Trafford club.

The Cityzens ran out 3-0 winners at Old Trafford earlier this season, with an Erling Haaland double and Phil Foden securing a comfortable victory. Ten Hag has been caught up in a bizarre row with Fulham over a social media post appearing to mock captain Bruno Fernandes, while City have found form this week with Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne’s devastating performances at Luton in the FA Cup.

Manchester City is thriving in all areas with an 18-5-3 season record to run in second place in the Premier League, an early edge over FC Copenhagen with the second leg coming in their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matchup. City has the chance now as a hefty favorite (-410) to beat rival United on Sunday and keep pace with Liverpool, who separated to a four-point lead but needed a 99th-minute goal to take a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest. City can that gap back to one with a victory.

Both sides made it through into the FA Cup quarter-finals this week in very different circumstances. Erling Haaland scored five goals as City muscled past Luton 6-2, while United had to rely on a late Casemiro winner to edge past Nottingham Forest.

Still, United have been relatively successful against City in the Guardiola era and would love to scupper their hopes of an unprecedented double treble. Manchester United are entering the match off a loss that snapped a five-game win streak for them, while a win today for City could extend their current win streak to 12 games.

Manchester City start the day four points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool, who scored a dramatic 99th minute winner to secure all three points against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are 11 points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa and six behind Tottenham, who recorded respective wins over Luton Town and Crystal Palace yesterday.

Pep Guardiola’s defending champions are red hot favourites to complete the league double over their city rivals, having triumphed 3-0 at Old Trafford back in October, and to extend the 15 point gap that currently separates the two sides.
